As restaurants and other hospitality venues have reopened in Los Angeles County, there have been many changes and challenges along the way. While it’s true that new regulations have reduced restaurant capacity and indoor dining has yet to return, many establishments have risen to the challenge and created new outdoor dining experiences for their patrons, and the city has made allowances for sidewalk dining as well.
Hotels have likewise risen to the occasion and rolled out new outdoor lounges and patios, making al fresco dining the new way Angelenos eat out. And while we will all be happy for the day some of the restrictions are lifted - BYE FOREVER masks and social distancing! - one thing we hope will stick around is the opportunity to spend less time inside and more time outside. After all, we’re in sunny LA!
