Remember when we could all freely go out and have fun in public places with abandon? It seems like a world far, far away from our current reality, and we sure do miss it. Fortunately, City National Grove of Anaheim is bringing some of those fun times back, even if it isn’t quite like what we knew before. Social distancing and mask mandates are still in place in California, but that doesn’t mean everyone has to stay home!
While some events the venue typically hosts, like concerts and large comedy shows, have been postponed and rescheduled for later dates (hopefully in a post-Covid world!) there are events lined up right now that are worth checking out in September and October.
The exciting new Drive-In OC* program is in full swing, allowing audiences to view all kinds of shows, movies, and performances from the comfort and safety of their own vehicles.
A few of the current fall line-up for the drive-in is British artist Gareth Emery, whose September 18, 19, and 20th concerts in Anaheim are part of his tour following the release of his new album “The Lasers.” Next up is the band Fortunate Youth, headlining two concerts on September 25th and 26th.
Iliza Shlesinger fans, rejoice! The very funny and wildly popular comedian is touring America and stopping in Anaheim! The star is adding to her already busy schedule following her five Netflix specials, a feature film co-starring Mark Wahlberg, a cooking show with her husband, and her own comedy sketch show. Anaheim is lucky to have Iliza come to town. Read more and get tickets HERE.
Last but certainly not least, mark your calendars for October 2. That’s when The YETI Film Tour comes to your car!
From YETI:
DRIVE IN EDITION
At YETI, we talk of the wild. We explore it. We live for it. Hell, every product we make is “Built for the Wild.” Which is why the YETI Film Tour is back again, to bring you stories from the wild. After postponing the tour this spring, we’re excited to again share seven incredible films of human grit and resilience through the safety of drive-in theater locations. All ticket proceeds from the tour go toward preserving the wild, so pack a cooler and join us for a night under the stars.
We feel grateful to have City National Grove of Anaheim providing fun for the whole family, even as life is still struggling to get back to normal. Check out their full events listings HERE and start planning your fall weekends!
